Decoding fall fashion 2023

There’s a bit of chill in the air which indicates the coming of fall. This transitional period calls for more deeper hues and cozy vibes.

Here are the major fall trends for fall/winter 2023.

1. This fall season the “IT” color is going to be RED. From bright red to a deep burgundy or wine color. I am team burgundy specially when is comes to my lipsticks for fall.

2. The cowgirl effect- The western trend is big right now! More styles have been seen that either had a western influence or were actual cowgirl boots. You can make it even more fun by mixing chiffon dresses with cowgirl boots or a hat. Some people choose a white flowy summer dress to pair with their boots.

3.Power suits- The structured tailored suit is back in a big way this fall. Reminiscent of the 80’s, some of these styles even have the protruding shoulder pads for more structure.

If you are not up for a full suit then try a blazer dress!

4. Blanket scarves- Thanks to the Old Money Aesthetic, blanket scarves are back and should be a part of your wardrobe this fall. If you want something even better try a fun little cape or shrug.

5. Loose jeans- The trending loose jeans styles that are a must have this season are straight legs, bootcuts, flares and wide legs. It will be exciting to see all the wonderful modern twists given to those jeans from the past.

6.Leather or faux- Leather is still a major trend and it’s fine to wear this trend from head to toe. You can choose what suits you best- real leather or vegan.

7. Coat-The Oversized Coat is a new trend that brings Y2K vibes back. Get creative with a bigger size in double breasted styles. Try wearing the coat unbuttoned and open in the front for a baggy look or buttoned up for a more tailored look.

The Black Coat is a new trend and is supposed to be part of the minimalistic lookbook for this season.
